「ひかりのほうへ」シリーズでは、人間の感情に着目し、そのようなエネルギーをいかにして具体化できるか探求しています。富山優子さんの楽曲に感銘を受け、私の個人的な人間関係の感情的な見つめ直したことをきっかけに、色を通してこのような心のゆらぎ・エネルギーを表す必要があると感じ、油彩の抽象画シリーズの制作が始まりました。愛情や嘆きなどの人間の感情や光の存在など、具象では表しきれない無形のエネルギーを色彩によって表現することを目指しています。
The Toward Light series focuses on human emotions and explores how such energies might be embodied. Influenced by the music of Tomiyama Yuko, I reflected on my emotional response around my interpersonal relationships and felt the need to express these energies through colour. I began producing this series of abstract oil paintings. From human emotions such as love and sorrow to the feeling of the presence of light, I attempt to convey, through colour, the intangible energies that I cannot express through representational images.
